The Vampire Diaries S02E08

SPOILER ALERT!!!

This will be my first review of the series even though I've been watching it since the Pilot episode last year. Okay, well, maybe this isn't really a review but more of what I think is going to happen. Mainly, I just want to blog about The Vampire Diaries for the first time so give me a break. And I think, from now on, I will blog weekly about the aired episode and give my thoughts about it. One more thing, before I begin, I want to point out that if you don’t watch the series, please skip this blog and move on to other posts. Thank you.

The 8th episode of Season 2, titled “Rose,” aired last Thursday night November 4, 2010. Rose is a new vampire character who’s been running away from “The Originals,” along with his friend Trevor, who is, also, you guessed it, a vampire, for more than 500 years. They were the ones who kidnapped Elena from the masquerade ball the night before. Of course, the Salvatore brothers knew soon enough of Elena’s whereabouts with a little help from Bonnie, they immediately hopped on a car and drove to save the damsel in distress.

Although there is still a lot of stuff I didn’t mention, I don’t want to completely fill this blog with the summary of the episode. I am, however, really interested on what will happen between Caroline and Tyler’s relationship. The connection between them is getting stronger but I still don’t know if that will be positive or negative. Now that Tyler knows Caroline is a vampire, he still doesn’t know, nevertheless, that a werewolf’s bite can kill her, instead he knows, as of the moment, that the only one he can trust and lean to is Caroline herself. But Caroline knows this and although I think she is trying to help him, she can also turn this around. We all know since the very beginning she became a vampire, she doesn’t want any werewolves lurking around Mystic Falls. But if their relationship turns out to be romantic, they’re both going to have a hard time about it.

On to Jeremy and Bonnie’s relationship, there is definitely something going on between the two, if not, there will be something soon. What’s better than dating you sister’s witch best friend? Maybe that’s what Jeremy’s thinking. Although I think they’re a match made in heaven, I don’t think they’re going to last. No specific reason whatsoever, I just think they won’t.

Now, on to the last and most crucial relationship I want to tackle: Damon and Elena’s. This latest episode, there are a few but excruciatingly painful scenes among the two. The first one was when Damon thought Elena was going to run to him, hug him and such but he thought wrong when Stefan came to the picture and Elena hugged him instead. You can absolutely see the reaction of Damon and know that his heart was ripped into pieces. Trying not to let Elena see that, he just smiled and mouthed “You’re welcome” to her after she said thank you. It was devastating. The second scene was at the ending and I can’t even begin on how to explain the emotions I felt during the time I was watching it. I have to admit that I did cry after watching that scene for the first time. And I cried again after the second time and also the third time. It was crazy and agonizing. Damon finally confessed to Elena that he loves him, but that’s not the sad part, he also compelled her to forget everything he just said.

Favorite Youtuber?

There is no question about it that my favorite youtuber has got to be Michelle Phan, the make up guru. It used to be Kevjumba but I just fell in love with Michelle's videos.

I didn't know how to put on make up before, not until I caught a glimpse of Michelle's tutorials. And I'm so glad that I did.

If you don't know who Michelle Phan is, you're missing out! Check out Michelle's videos here.

Here's a sample:

Trying Hard Trying

Up until now, I still don't know what I want to be in this life. I've had this problem since the day I could see and believe me, that's a long time ago. I don't have any talent or any hobby, for that matter. I am hopeless.

Prepare yourselves for this blog entry because it will be all about me. I know, it sucks. Anyway, I don't get myself. I have a lot of interests but there's nothing I'm really good at. Well, okay, I like photography. But that doesn't mean that I'd make a great photographer. I suck at taking pictures. Crap crap crap. I like music. Yes, good ol' music. I play the guitar but I'm not very good. I only know the basics. Foolish, right? I basically like art, although the closest thing to art that I can do is Photoshop. I know, I know. Don't judge.

If you didn't know, I used to sing. Please notice the words "used to." Apparently, my voice left me and abandoned me forever. Yes, it sucks. I cannot sing anymore. That makes me what? Hopeless. Another one, before I entered college, I wanted to take up journalism. Actually, I wanted to be a writer, but not anymore. I realized I wasn't very good at it. Yeah, you guessed it. I suck.

So, could you kindly please tell me, what else I could do in this world without completely screwing up my life?

I was about to touch Jason Castro's dreads

Jason Castro had a promotion here in Manila at the Ayala Malls from March 18 - 21 and I got the chance to meet him at Market! Market! and had his autograph on my Love Uncompromised EP cd. I was speechless when I saw him with my two eyes (supported by my glasses) and I couldn't believe it. He looked absolutely stunning. And when I went up the stage and shook his hand, I almost drifted away from reality. I looked up into his blue-green eyes (that were almost luminous) and I felt my feet off the ground and carried me to Wonderland. I forgot who I was and the words came out of my mouth without me knowing it.

He told me "Hey, how're you doing?"
And I was like "Hi Jason *shakes hand*. I'm so glad I met you." *speechless while he's signing*  "Can I touch your dreads?"
He was about to let me but then this stupid, son of a gun bouncer stopped me and pointed at me to move. Like WTH.

But Jason Castro made my day. I love him. Sadly, I have no pictures WITH him. The bouncers wouldn't allow us to.

Jason was an American Idol finalist on season 7 and was included in the top 4 before he was eliminated. He is my favorite idol up until now. :)

Jason Castro is LOVE. <3

Yo!

What can I say? I am back.

All schoolworks are done and I'm gonna graduate on the 29th of March. I'm feeling a bit of mixed emotions about it. But I'm just really glad that I'm going to graduate.

When classes were over, I decided to read my ebooks, since I couldn't before because of all the deadlines that we had to pass. Now that I have a lot of free time, I read The Hunger Games and I couldn't believe how good it was! I started reading it without any idea on what the book was all about and it turned out to be wonderful. I got so hooked, I couldn't get my eyes off from my laptop. And now, I have double-vision. Haha. For everyone, I suggest you read it. It's definitely a must-read! I can now hardly wait for the last book to come out, but damn, it comes out on August 24! Can't I have it now, please?

Anyway, after I've read The Hunger Games and its sequel Catching Fire, I moved on to another round of ebooks, Percy Jackson series. I watched the movie and I knew beforehand I would love it and I did. Maybe because I knew Chris Columbus was the director and I believe everytime he makes a film, it never fails to amuse me. Although when I read the book, I found out it was too different from the movie. If you loved the movie, you'll definitely love the book and realize there were a lot of changes in the film. The Percy Jackson series has 5 books in all, I still got 4 more to go.

Oh how I miss reading books. Now, I'm back to my old self, a book-worm. :)

And can I just say Logan Lerman, who plays Percy Jackson, is a handsome doll. XD

That's it for now. Hope you all have a great day!
